The Covent Garden story to the world could be ''the best performers in the world,'' or ''a barrel full of fakes.'' So why is the Covent Garden Management telling this ''fake musician'' story? There must be a reason why they want to drive customers away from Covent Garden?

Covent Garden ''fake'' Pt 2

I am aware that this may be a mistake on the part of Covent Garden management in not understanding the mechanics of performance.

The circus acts use backing tracks and some use instruments, but are not actually playing them. Its just part of their act.

Some magic acts use instruments and may not be playing them. As a performer on the cobbles an Orchestral performer in the Merton Orchestra & Singer in the ''Citizens of the World Choir'' I can contest that I have not actually seen any fake musicians outside on the cobbles in Covent Garden. There are a few playing violin in central London.

My last TikTok video gained over 35,000 hits so I am more than happy to publicise the fake musicians narrative around the globe to assist Covent Garden management in alerting visitors to these fakes, whom I have never seen but I'm sure are there if they say they are. My question is WHY? Where is the commercial benefit for Shaftsbury Capital PLC building a reputation for ''fakes''. Personally as a stake holder, having performed in CC for well over a year, Id like to build a positive story of success, not ''fakes''. But if they insist, then so be it.

I will include this story in the documentary.

We are planning a documentary on the demise of free and open busking in London, the corporatisation of busking and the Governments & TFL's attempts to prevent musicians from minority groups from taking part in busking on the Tube. My own experience of never being allowed a busking licence by TFL to busk on the tube, with footage of me being threatened with arrest if I as a disabled person did not stop performing music for a living on TFL property without a licence is central to the show. Having someone with a lived experience is the best story told. Then the story of me being refused a licence, for 8 years in a row. Discrimination of the worst kind.

These stories may include any problems you have had with any enforcement agencies, including the Police. Buskers are one man businesses mostly acting within the law so if the Police or any other agency have been acting to force one man legitimate businesses out of business to benefit larger businesses, then that's a crime, and of course corruption.

Parliament has been informed of my concerns.
